At Roamr we're disrupting traditional Corporate Travel by providing a cost saving alternative to hotels. Today, we’re proud to share that we’ve raised a $2.3M extension to our Pre-Seed funding to scale that vision.
This round was led by a trusted group of repeat investors who elected to pre-empt our plans for funding later in the year, just 4 months after first backing us. The continued support of early believers like Mike Halpin, Rick Kelley, Eoghan Quigley and John Riordan as well as the addition of new strategic angels across the future of work, travel, and SaaS puts us in good stead to realise our global ambitions and scale our vision.
Creating a New Category
Our mission is simple; Help companies save 30% on work travel by paying employees—not hotels.
Instead of booking another overpriced hotel room, Roamr allows employees to stay with colleagues, friends, or community members. We take the budget that would have been spent on the hotel and redistribute them. Both the guest and host share in the savings—while companies cut costs and build culture.
We split the alternative accommodation budget three ways:
- 30% to the host
- 30% to the guest
- 30% savings for the company
Our early traction with forward thinking companies —including our first public company deal in the U.S.—sparked interest in taking the next step sooner than planned. Our original plan was to raise late 2025, but momentum from existing investors, usage across 100+ countries, and pilots with global teams fast-tracked that timeline. What's Next
This is growth capital and we’re excited to double down on:
- US Expansion – deepening our presence in the world’s largest travel market
- Deepening Parnterships - key future of work players like Deel, Remote, Oyster and Remofirst have been instrumental in our early success

- Roamr for Friends – our new PLG feature to onboard users through their own networks
